Day 2

While Rey went to watch Ponyo (again), I watched Red Cliff 2 on my own. I think I'm going to read 三国志, in English...or the comic version, or should I read it in Chinese to get the feel?

Rey is fed well by Doreen. Now I know who to call for baby-sitting.

Misa made these koi which symbolises 年年有余（鱼）. This year, I'm going to eat the head and the tail 1st so that I'll do things 有头有尾.

Rey never fails to practise the piano everyday. He used to wake up at 7am to play the piano until the sleep-deprived adults in the house set the rules, that is, to play the piano from 9am onwards.

morning play

I make it a point to bring Rey to the park to soak in the morning sun for 1 hour while I read the newspapers. I have bees in the bonnet about reading the papers in the morning and Rey knows that too well to ask me to join him. Maybe I should try not to bring the papers with me the next day.

What's that smell?!

We were greeted by a strong smell when we entered our grandma's house. Now you know where that stench came from. Squid from Winnie's latest shopping trip to Vietnam. Nana was complaining about it but I like the smell! Reminds me of my old old bolster from childhood long time ago. hahaha! Don't freak out. I threw it away liao...

Foam party

The kids experienced their 1st foam party at the NY countdown event. Rey didn't want to go in at first because he was too afraid that the foam might sting his eyes like shampoo do. Sometimes I wish he is more MAN , more daring to challenge something new. Maybe when he is older I'll pack him off to some poor countries to do volunteer work. Anyway, he got in and enjoyed alot when he was dragged in by the kids.
