New Year dinner with Minister Tharman

Had a 10-course dinner and MP Tharman was there too. He is now the minister for education and minister for finance. We had shark's fin, herbal chicken soup, steam prawns, and many others. Uncle Vincent made his speech as a RC chairman for the 1st time. We were worried he might make some mistakes in his speech but eveything went fine, phew!

rubik cube

You know rubik cube? I'm obssessed with it now. My aunt called me 'xiao' because I have been hogging the laptop the whole day watching the nerdy rubik expert's lesson repeatedly. Of course I can solve 1 side but I'm aiming to solve the whole cube at once. Now I'm learning the tactics from my youtube teacher. There are people out there trying to solve the cube like me and we are all taking a long time to solve it! I even wrote down the solutions on a card. I'm not a genius but I promised myself to master it within a week. Bless me!

btw, if you have time and mental strength to try out this cube, you can watch this. I selected this teacher because he explains the best, but just a bit too fast.

durian juice?

This is a fruit juice stall in Bugis. The green paper actually had 'durian juice' written on it. I couldn't take a better shot at it because of the crowd. Anyway, the point is, how will it really taste like? I love durians but the 1 and only option for me would be durian + milk= durian milkshake. But juice leh, what is the do you think best combination huh? Nana says maybe durian + banana?

ya! We played mahjong on Xmas eve!! Cheltton family came for a mahjong session and I won some money.hehehe. The children stayed awake till 3am including Rey.
