Did you read the newspaper about a Malay lady marrying an Italian after 4 years of courtship in Second Life (online game)? Well she is the one and the Malay wedding was held just blocks away. It's quite unbelievable that people married in a cyber game actually fall in love in real life, especially when they live far apart. I like Malay wedding when you can eat the curry and coconut flavoured desserts. But I can't eat....
I want to EAT! I was so looking forward to devouring the delicacies here but ended up with viral infection, with Mee Pok being the last nice food eaten. 3 days of plain food and lots of pain each time I swallow. It hurts more when I walk past the hawker center smelling fried Char Kuay Teow but can't eat it! I'm so desperate to cure this ulcers in my throat I seek both Western and Chinese medicine. I want to EAT and TALK!
We went to this Christmas gathering in the neighbourhood organized by the RC and came back with loads of gifts. Talk about the gathering, it started with some old residents singing Chinese and Hokkien karaoke at full blast, successfully killing the Christmas spirits.
Rey was there early to help decorate the Xmas tree while I rest my throat for the feast.
