fairy mushrooms

We were walking home from the pool with Doreen when we saw some wild mushrooms.

I: Look Rey, wow! wild mushroom. Don't touch it, it may be poisonous.

Rey: What! poisonous mushrooms?

(Rey was going to stamp on the mushroom like superMario when Doreen stopped him.

Doreen: Nooo! Don't don't...you know there are fairies living in these mushrooms?

I: what, you're serious? (I can't believe my ears)

Doreen: In Enid Blyton's books.

I: haha...

I wanted to laugh more but the look on Doreen's face was so serious. And she was all so eager to protect the mushrooms from Rey's stomping feet.
