Seoul (and Shanghai)

Went to Seoul for 4 days last week. Can you imagine buying the air tickets and booking the hotel only the night before?

Took a ferry across the Han River

Good food is everywhere!

I didn't realise the guards at the palace were so gigantic until I saw this photo.

Since this is my 3rd trip in Korea, I am confident when taking the subway.

Eating at a street stall, the kinds you see in korean dramas.

The ahjumas cooking in the tent while I wait for my food.

Ate at this restaurant for lunch, in Namdaemun.

I ordered beef soup.

Something you mustn't miss eating in Korea, chicken soup

This is our hotel (Ramada Hotel and Suites). Cheltton's mother in the background posing for me.

We made a transit in Shanghai, so we get to explore Shanghai too. My 1st time in China!

From Pudong airport in Shanghai, take this Maglev train. It takes only 8 minutes to travel to the city at the speed of 300km/h at a cheap fare at 40 yuan (500 yen)! The highest speed it can go is 400km/h. Can you believe it? Normal train ride takes 1hour.

Train frequency is 4 trains per hour. Last train from the city Loyang to Pudong airport is 9:40pm.

Outside the station at Lu Jia Zui.

It's easy to get around Shanghai. The map, like in Korea is easy to understand.
