ok, please don't think I have all the time in the world to surf the net always. As a stay-home-mum (I would like to think it is temporarily), your work is 24 hours, you're on-duty ALL the time, there are heaps of things to do. Besides playing with and caring for Rey, meals have to be cooked, flowers watered, floors vacuumed ( i have to do 4 times as much when it comes to cleaning cuz this is a 4-storey house, don't envy, it's really tough work you know), clothes washed, rooms tidied, grocery shopping, washing the bathtub, planning day activities with Rey, and the list goes on...
And with the change of season, I have to pack up the summer clothes and bring out the autumn ones. The toys that rey has out-grown is to be packed aside too. So many things to do!!
To add to the list, i have to wash the fish tank too. The 4 goldfish just keep banging onto the walls of the tank simply because the water is too cloudy. I have to do something before they die of head concussion! Afterall, they are miracle fish! I caught them from the festival game (kin-gyou-sukui) more than 1 year ago. Most fish from games cannot survive 3 days but these 4 fish are stronger than 'Survivors '. More could have survived though. If only I had not squashed 1 when I tried to catch it. Also, I recall the horror when Rey called to me,
Rey: "Mummy, it is true! Fish breathe through gills!! you see....this fish cannot breathe because I blocked the gills! It's not moving anymore because there is no air and water!"
I: WHat did you do!!? (the fish has died of suffocation) Don't you know that fish needs to be in the water all the time if not they will die?
Rey: now i know!
Too late lah! ah boy, you fish murderer.
oh, there's a video I want to show you guys. It's very cool, plus the music, it's splendid! For those of you who have pen-spinned or are still pen-spinning, here's the video.....
